Redskins Reportedly Trade Cravens

March 28, 2018

by Steve Thomas

As reported by Mike Jones, Adam Schefter, and others, the Redskins have reportedly agreed to trade safety/linebacker Su’a Cravens to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a swap of 4th and 5th round picks, an extra 5th round pick from Denver, and a conditional 6th round pick:

The conditional 6th round pick is reportedly based on Cravens playing in the playoffs this upcoming season.

This trade to a close a strange saga for Cravens in Washington, which began when we was selected as a second round pick in the 2016 NFL draft (53rd overall).  Cravens only played 11 total games for the Redskins, starting 3, with 23 tackles, 10 assists, 1 sack, and 1 interception.

Cravens was a linebacker in his rookie year was going to transition to safety for the 2017 season.  He infamously left the team shortly after final cuts last season, citing personal and health reasons, initially indicating that he intended to retire from football.   After reportedly being talked out of retirement by Redskins team president Bruce Allen, the team placed him on their exempt list for the season.  This past December, it was announced that Cravens had been cleared from post-concussion syndrome and intended to return to football.  The NFL reinstated him to the Redskins’ active roster in February.

Although the trade provides some salvage value for a team asset twho didn’t appear likely to ever become a significant contributor on the field once he departed the team, losing the 2016 second round pick is most certainly an overall loss for the franchise.  With this trade, only receiver Josh Doctson, defensive tackle Matt Ioannidis, and running back Keith Marshall remain on the team from the 2016 draft class.

  • the plan needs to be to drop back slighly and restock….lotta REALLY talented guys in this draft…

drop back pick up a third, grab DaShawn Hand in the third, i mean that’s STEALING

Boy that would go a long way toward getting a terrific draft grade from the fuckers at ESPN.

My point of the post below was just to ask if it’s worth it to draft a Center…like a 4th round C and move Chase to Guard. EIther way I think we should add some OL depth in the draft. Interior guys. We got Ty and TJ as backup Tackles.

  • Running a Mock,
Here’s the list of the top BPA@PON from what they gave me:

DT-Vita Vea, Maurice Hurst, Taven Bryan, Da’Ron Payne
    RB-Derrius Guice
    OG- Isaiah Wynn, Will Hernandez
    S- Ronnie Harrison

    • BTW if we have that many options at 13, I bet they trade back, basically it means you can get a guy you really want and drop all the way back to 20. That’s kinda what Bruce talked about in his interviews.

    • Round 1 Pick 1 (1) Browns: Rosen, Josh (QB) UCLA
Round 1 Pick 2 (2) Giants: Barkley, Saquon (RB) Penn State
Round 1 Pick 3 (3) Jets: Darnold, Sam (QB) Southern California
Round 1 Pick 4 (4) Browns: Alexander, Jaire (CB) Louisville
Round 1 Pick 5 (5) Broncos: Allen, Josh (QB) Wyoming
Round 1 Pick 6 (6) Colts: Chubb, Bradley (DE) North Carolina State
Round 1 Pick 7 (7) Buccaneers: Daniels, James (C/OG) Iowa
      Round 1 Pick 8 (8) Bears: Davenport, Marcus (DE/OLB) Texas-San Antonio
Round 1 Pick 9 (9) 49ers: Edmunds, Tremaine (OLB) Virginia Tech
Round 1 Pick 10 (10) Raiders: Fitzpatrick, Minkah (CB/FS) Alabama
Round 1 Pick 11 (11) Dolphins: Smith, Roquan (ILB/OLB) Georgia
Round 1 Pick 12 (12) Bills: Mayfield, Baker (QB) Oklahoma

  • Spencer Long hasn’t completed a full season yet and only managed 6 games last year, he is also not a starting caliber guard. By all accounts Roullier played better last year then Long.

  • this draft is DEEP on the DL, John Franklin Myers, 6’4, 292, ran a 4.75 at the combine.

  • Anyone watch Roseanne? I missed it but will watch it this weekend.

  • NFL vows lowering helmet rule will be “a substantial change” to the sport
Posted by Michael David Smith on March 29, 2018, 8:53 AM EDT
How big a deal is the new NFL rule outlawing lowering the head to initiate contact with the helmet? A very big deal.

Although we’re still waiting on specific examples of what is and is not a penalty, suffice to say that the penalty is going to make significant changes to the sport of football. The league office tells PFT that a USA Today report that the competition committee found fewer than 10 examples of plays from last year that would have been penalties under the new rule is incorrect. Instead, the league pointed us to comments from committee chair Rich McKay, who said the new rule will make a major difference.

“It’s a substantial change,” McKay said. “Lowering their head, creating a different spine angle, and delivering a blow . . . we need to protect all players at all times and say that technique is not allowed. So if you lower your head to initiate contact and you initiate, it’s a foul. . . . It’s one of the most dangerous techniques there is, but yet we’ve allowed it to creep in and it’s now very prevalent. And we need to get it out. And we’re not going to get it out by saying, ‘We need to teach it better,’ we’re going to get it out by penalizing it.”

McKay made clear that this is not just a rule that applies in certain situations, such as hits on defenseless receivers or quarterbacks. This rule applies to everyone: Offense and defense, receivers and safeties, blockers and pass rushers, ball carriers and tacklers. If you’re on the football field, you’re not allowed to lower your head to initiate contact with your helmet. If you do, you won’t be on the football field anymore.

    • Look for penalties on every play at the line of scrimmage. No short yardage runs anymore either, this will just make teams pass more then they already do.

Report: Beckham wants to play for the Rams

    • he’s got to be a bit old for that, I mean, also having to learn the game

    • Keep in mind that a “report” is just something a reporter puts out there. Like when that Silver guy said Cousins was going to the 49ers for picks that they were going to give to Dallas for Romo. Sometimes reporters just make shit up to stir the pot. The media is pursuing this OBJ thing to death.

I hope we get a legit starter at DL, RB, OG…in that order in the upcoming draft. I know that seems like high expectations but…It needs to happen. Hopefully the OG comes in the 4th. Because the RB, and DL need to come in the first 2 rounds.

i naively thought cell phones were magically protected from this ish. i’ve started getting junk calls on my cell phone. there should be a special place in hell for people who junk call you on your cell phone (or regular phone, actually). but, still, aren’t they “not supposed to” call on your cell phone?

Pick a lane…either you sign TMurphy to starters money and here, he’s not a starter, SLong to starters money, again, here, he’s not a starter, and sign KC to a 84 million dollar deal…or you can have money to extend PSmith / BScherff / JCrowder….

With the rat, they were alive when class started, they just put them in a Rubbermaid trash can and filled the trashcan with Carbon Monoxide. So they were FRESH.

          • Worm: run your thumb and forefinger down the length of the work, squeezing out the shit (dirt), pop it in your mouth and chew it up.
Frog: after removing the frog from your frog gig, grasp it firmly by the legs and thump it’s head sharply against the shaft of your frog gig with a quick downward swinging motion. (Can’t have live bullfrogs that have been speared hopping around in the bag). Skin the frog’s legs and cut them off, discard the feet and body. Rinse thoroughly.

Vegans protested his restaurant. So this chef carved a deer leg in the window.
When animal rights activists targeted Antler Kitchen & Bar, the chef and co-owner appeared in its window and carved up meat in full view of the protesters, some of whom later said they were disturbed for days, according to news reports.
    ——————-

    disturbed for days….. hahahaha

    • That’s fantastic! My regards to the chef.

    • I can still remember the scene. When I was a kid every year our school bus would go past this neighborhood, where… well. those folks were there before the suburbanites encroached, and apparently the best place on this one property to bleed the deer, was the tree in the front yard. Could have taught an animal science / biology class, I mean, once you have the skin off, you can see a lot.

          3) saw that deer hanging in a tree
          4) been out on a ranch during branding season (helped with that once, never been so sore, and that smell? never forget the smell)

Not a fisherman or a hunter, neither was my father. My father left the farm when he was 18 and joined the military so I did not grow up on the farm.

“The restaurant tried to better promote vegan dishes on its menu, like mushroom yakitori and sweet potato gyoza, but the activists were not satisfied.

“The goal always is for a restaurant to go fully vegan,” Ugar told the Globe and Mail. “To reduce the animals they kill, for me, isn’t good enough.””

      • walter_in_fallschurch

…then about how compression waves are unconstitutional or some such nonsense.

        • Josh RosenSquinns

There is a greater chance that compression waves are unconstitutional than that cauliflower can in any way be a meat substitute.

          • some people are complaining that the compression waves coming from (or because of flight paths to and from) National Airport are too intense…

maybe some master… um… debator could make a link there…

          • walter_in_fallschurch

i daresay the compression waves arrive after the light waves from the offending planes.

          • if the offending planes are REALLY close, it can be perceived like they get there at the same time

when I was in Colorado you knew you were in the hot zone when you’d be clicking away on the keyboard, your hair would start to tingle and then the lighting arrived at the same perceived time the thunder did. I don’t know what the human perception speed between the two is, but we could prob google it.

But if you want a recipe for some country style hemp pancakes? I don’t have that either became I’m an artist and I don’t use one.

      • I don’t think I said that about cauliflower. But broiling cauliflower, little salt, little pepper, misto some olive oil over it, then turn the oven broiler to 450-500 degrees, 20 minutes, flip (spatula), 15-20 minutes and you’ll eat it like french fries. broccoli too. you’re going to want to do 2-3 lbs at a time or it’s just like ordering the small fry at McD and having to share it with others.

there are some maybe fake cheese sauces that have cauliflower in them? don’t remember.

    • once the house is cluttered with things you don’t use, it’s better to just get rid of what you don’t use, and that usually means giving it away or selling it for pennies on the dollar. most of the time everyone wins. except the hoarders. they are the same people who think playing the lottery makes sense.

    Anybody around up in here?

  • A group of animal rights activists who protested outside of a Toronto restaurant known for serving game meat said they were shocked when they say the co-owner came out and carved up an animal leg in front of them.

Marni Ugar organized a protest on Friday, outside of the restaurant Antler Kitchen & Bar, located in the city’s west end. The small restaurant serves locally foraged ingredients, wild foods and meats including wild boar, venison, bison, and duck.

    I love this guy

  • If Jordan Reed returns to health and form, and Vernon Davis continues to play well, and Richardson produces, and Doctson starts playing at a high level, and Crowder plays well, and the O-line stays healthy then Alex Smith will have a great year (potentially his best ever) and this offense will be a problem for other teams.

State sanctioned lynching by means of gun violence!
    ================================================

I don’t think that police should shoot unarmed people

but if you watch LivePD, you see people not following instructions and the police end up putting them in handcuffs, detaining them until they can sort things out

so I can only imagine what was going through the officers’ mind in a high crime, gang area where gang members are frequently armed and a guy reaches into his clothes and pulls out something

so I can see why nobody wants to employ Kap

    • I didn’t know it was a high crime rate area or gang infested. Never saw that in the news.

    • I think the thing is that the police are warned about possibilities of violence. This could come from many different sources. Sometimes it just someone who has a gripe against the target. Police go in high on adreneline. Someone shouts “gun” and it’s all over.

    • Make sudden movements with something in your hands while disobeying the police and you’re inviting a gun shot wound

      • In combat, the old adage “he who hesitates is lost” is well known. However I’ve been on many missions where the ROE was, no firing unless fired upon. I cannot describe how hard that is… do a hard target search in enemy territory and hope they miss with the first shot.

  • so , Sony M is staying in school ? is this news ?

  • KC ain’t on this team no more

He didn’t want to be here

And in three years he won’t want to be in Minnesota

    The good news is that
    A. We’ve replaced him
    B. We didn’t trade the future of the team for him

    • The thing about his MN deal is that it’s pretty much a win the SB or bust kind of a thing.

      • No Punt Intended

Kirk plays so well under that kind of pressure.

      • I think that’s a huge misnomer. He just has to do his job. Run the offense. Zimmer even said it. All he wants is a QB that runs the offense as designed.

        • It’s 100% the case. The Vikings dumped the QB who got them to the NFC Championship game and gave Cousins an insane contract to take his place. If the Vikings don’t win the SB with Cousins, then it’s a failure, period.

Man, he’s really your guy, isn’t he?

          • Yes, Cousins is my guy. Like everything about him. He’s battled his whole career. He’s a tough player and a fighter. How would you honestly rate the Redskins in the time he’s been here? Top shelf? Great team? Well run organization? This team has been BAD. Cousins has done more than any other player on the team week in and week out. If you can’t see that or worse won’t. I’m sorry. He’s a quality human being and a very good NFL QB.

  • Hope-18 Steve Thomas • 10 minutes ago
Well I disagree. Cousins was limited with a bad running game, and a horrible defense during his time here. This past year he had no O-line and no receivers and oh yeah seven running backs. He put up numbers? Yeah, record setting numbers. He did the best he could with what he had. That’s all you can ask of your QB.
    ___________________________________________________________
That NOT all you can ask of your QB. Stop giving him a pass!!!! He was good, but I remember the defense giving the offense the ball back plenty of time after turnovers and 3 and outs only to do nothing!!!!!

    • Look, it takes all 11 guys on offense to make a play or series of plays work. Far more often than not that didn’t happen. Cousins play overall was pretty impressive with the failures going on around him. He delivered a lot of balls that would have been first downs and even TD’s except the receivers failed. STOP acting like Cousins was the big fail here. He wasn’t.

      • They’re baiting you . I’d let it go , but it’s fair to say and I remember , you were calling for no 8 , when most people were still pinning for RG and they know who they are . You were right and I would just ride with that .

        • I really respect you Buck because I remember those late night discussions we had about Griffin and Cousins. Sometimes we got a little heated but we always were able to deal with our differences. Like that about you.

          • shit , I knew cousins was much more suited for the pro game than RG was , a long time before I even admitted it , but thanks .

  • SOB , MFER . I owe the IRS four grand and some change .

  • Where’s that interception video with the flute playing?

  • No Punt Intended

Kirk Cousins was 4-19 against teams that finished the season with a winning record.

    mic drop

    • …but he didn’t have defense, running game, decent cleats, or a good field to play on- Kirk Hive

    • I liked Cousins. He put up great numbers. The team totally screwed up his contract negotiations, going back two years. I’d have been happy if they’d gotten him signed long term for a deal that worked for everybody, just because it’s so hard to find even a merely competent quarterback. The Redskins themselves have proved how hard that is, through 20 years of failure at it.

But Cousins consistently failed in key situations, repeatedly. He wasn’t good when it really counted when he was here, and he was too focused on his own “process” and numbers.

I’m much happier with Alex Smith. Never thought we’d be able to get him. A very different guy than Cousins in the way he carries himself and what he’s proven over the last 4 years. I think the team is better off with Smith, regardless of cap hit.

      • Well I disagree. Cousins was limited with a bad running game, and a horrible defense during his time here. This past year he had no O-line and no receivers and oh yeah seven running backs. He put up numbers? Yeah, record setting numbers. He did the best he could with what he had. That’s all you can ask of your QB.

      • He did have some big time chokes, like the Giants game in ’16. OTOH, he was a mofo in the second half of ’15 when we needed every single game to make the playoffs.

Team record is a bad measure of any one player’s performance, even if the player is a QB.

IMO Cousins is better than Smith, in addition to being younger, but KC and the Skins poisoned that relationship.

Hope, whatever the cause/reason, KC did not want to be here. He did not want to be a Redskin.

  • So Hope lasted about a month.

  • Cravens is a bitch! …whined his way outta Washington….he got his way and the Redskins let him. I’d a let his ass rot on the bench.

Yeah, I’ve gotten better before, too. Know what I’m sayin? Lookin’ at you, Di!

I think these background biotches really need to shut their cockholsters since their men don’t have the balls to make the same comments.

  • Derwin James – make it happen.

  • Kansas City was 29th in the league in TD scoring percentage inside the red zone last year. Redskins were 16th. flounder gonna be hatin…

    • Josh RosenSquinns

Nuthing to see her al will be fine

    • No Punt Intended

That’s because they scored from way more than 20 yards out quite often.

      • So did the Redskins…

        • No Punt Intended

Smith tosses way fewer picks. He’s not a pussy. He’s twice the athlete KC is. He’s way more receiver-friendly.

We got better when Smith solidified the QB position for at least the next 3 seasons.

I am more confident in the RZ with ASmith than I’ve ever been with Kurt.

          • And yet throughout his career his production numbers are way below Cousins…

          • No Punt Intended

            Kirk sucks dick.

          • Poor baby… need a comfort puppy?

          • No Punt Intended

Just so you know, Jay Gruden would consider you an idiot.

            I’ll defer to Jay.

          • Just so you know Zimmer agrees with me… see how that works?

          • SKGS!

          • No Punt Intended

So go get your purple jersey then.

You cry like a bitch for a QB who never wanted any part of this team.

          • You cry like a bitch and denigrate the best passing QB this team has had in its entire history… loser.

          • No Punt Intended

I’m not crying you retard. I am happy. Glad that dude is gone. Glad our team can focus on other things now that we have actual stability at the QB positions.

            Dumbass.

          • You’re glad we got rid of the best QB in the history of the franchise and you call me a dumbass…

          • No Punt Intended

We didn’t get rid of him DUMBASS.

            He left.

            Wake the fuck up.

          • He left because the team decided he wasn’t worth paying a long term deal in 2015 or 2016… then he moved on… and you’re happy he’s gone.

          • to be fair, he also threw quite a few fewer passes than Cousins as well

          • Lower completion percentage, lower passer rating, lower TD percentage, lower yards per completion throughout his career.

          • Josh RosenSquinns

Did you buy one of the new KC tee shirts in purple and gold?

          • No… did you?

          • Josh RosenSquinns

No, but to be fair, you have also always been a tremendous fan of his.

          • I’m still a fan of Kirk. Quality guy who laid it all out on the field for us. Never put a foot wrong. No reason to hate on him. I wish him all the best in Minnesota unless he plays us.

          • No Punt Intended

Not even when he had trash at his feet?

          • Josh RosenSquinns

Hence why I asked if you bought one of his shirts.

          • I’m not the one saying it was an upgrade. Kirk wasn’t staying here, I’m just hoping it isn’t a downgrade for the team, Smith is a different guy and that might translate to different type of production, but in the end, we’re looking for wins and Smith came at the right price and was willing.

My family at least my Dad’s side, was ALL Chevrolet for EVER. Then one year we went out to the farm and my Uncle had bought a Crown Vic for his fam to go to town and church (he had an old Chevelle that he took the backseat out of that he used as his “pickup”.
            You BOUGHT A FORD!!!????
It was what was available and the price was right.

            Thus, Alex Smith.

          • No Punt Intended

And that deal looks better and better every day as the insanity surrounding the QB market right now continues.

          • That’s a fucking copout, BOOOOO!

          • Josh RosenSquinns

He had a legit running game. Gruden’s offense is pass happy.

    • Josh RosenSquinns

Interesting. You woulda thought that KHunt would have rode the ball right into the endzone.

  • noonefromtampa

So Mel “The Hair” Kiper kept Vita Vea as our pick in his 3.0 version mock

  • I went in for a CT scan today and the nurse asked to see my drivers license versus my Government ID. I asked why? She said there is more information on a drivers license like height and weight. Then she said “are you still six feet tall?” I said “yes why?” She said “because our records say you are 5’8″ and 150 lbs”. I said “not since my Freshman year in High School.”

  • walter_in_fallschurch

i’m about to go to a birthday party for my old neighbor across the street. she’s 98. she’s pretty mentally aware and so forth. she remembers when her childhood house in ohio got ELECTRICITY. that’s right! they were on the grid! they got one bulb in the kitchen – and were happy to have it.

    • No Punt Intended

Probably can’t remember what she had for breakfast though.

      • walter_in_fallschurch

probably not. funny how the brain works, or doesn’t. she lived across the street on her own until about 2 years ago. now, every time we go visit her she makes us play dominoes. the rules change every time.

        • Pretty cool you are going over there. Most folks these days don’t even know who their neighbors are. Personally I use 24 hour surveillance, but that’s another story.

          • No Punt Intended

I have known the neighbors on either side of me since moving here. There is a house mine backs to which is shared by about 6 or 7 girls who attend Georgetown. They consider me the ‘cool’ neighbor; probably because I am 20+ years younger then the peeps that live around me. Not sure why I am looking to move.

          • Ikr, you live next to a pussy factory.

          • No Punt Intended

            I skew older.

          • Eye candy. Better than some jerk.

          • It’s sad but true, I know one next door neighbor of ours well, great older lady, looks after our pets when we go out of town, has lived in her home since she was born. The ones on the other side are renters, and not terrible people but I do hear a lot of yelling from there home. So I just avoid them. There are a few across the street who I have a friendly wave hello, casual chit chat, but I couldn’t tell you their names if my life depended on it.

  • No Punt Intended

He’s back on a team? Okay, I’ll unblock him.

  • Dave Gettleman regarding OBJ: “You don’t quit on talent.”

  • walter_in_fallschurch

seems like we barely got anything for cravens. what a toilet-bowl filler.

  • So this new helmet rule seems pretty lame, if I understand it right it would mean the RB will have to run through the line chest up and take hits without lowering their helmet. This will limit running between the tackles.

Here is an idea…when a team kicks a touch back, the ball is placed on the 15. When the NFL made a touch back places the ball on the 25, they encouraged teams to find ways to make kick off returns happen
    =========================================
this guy really doesn’t get the concept…

    • noonefromtampa

they picked the 25 because that was the average return
put it at the 15, everyone is going to return it

      • What he’s trying to say is that they inadvertently encouraged teams to kick it just a bit short of the end zone to force teams to have to return it and get stopped short of the 25.

Happened to the Redskins this season.

        • walter_in_fallschurch

that’s what more teams SHOULD do. happens very rarely.

        • noonefromtampa

mostly because we sucked at KO returns

most teams tried to kick it into end zone and let them start at 25 versus potential of long return

    • walter_in_fallschurch

      hahahahaa

From NFL.com story about Cravens to Denver – comments section:

    David Peony · Denver, Colorado
He’s a bum man. I don’t want a quitter on the defense. The knock on him is he isn’t strong enough to run with TE’s and not quick enough to cover RB’s. He runs like an LB not a DB. That said, he does have talent and made some nice plays but he has a crap attitude.

    • he certainly didn’t make any plays this year

    • The knock on him is he isn’t strong enough to run with TE’s and not quick enough to cover RB’s. He runs like an LB not a DB.
      ________________

This is precisely why I didn’t like him as a 2nd round pick.

Bullshit. I said he was a bad pick from day one. In fact, Byard was the guy I liked that year.

You’re guy was the one All-Pro safety from that year

  • Looks like McPhee is a one year deal, a little over $1.7M cap hit. I’m not going to update the website right now, but I plugged him into my chart, and it looks like $17.7M in cap space right now under the Rule of 51, with $13M left after accounting for the rookie pool.

    • noonefromtampa

      I heard $1.8M
      $950K salary
      $350K bonus
$500K in active roster bonuses ($31,250 per game)

      plus or minus 7-9 minutes

      • $1.8M is total value – looks like a small part of it is unlikely to be earned incentives. $350,000 signing bonus, $406,250 roster bonus, $950,000 base

        • But there’s a note at the bottom of the Spotrac page that lists the $31,250 per game, so it seems a bit inconsistent. Anyway, I’m going with the $1,706,250 hit for now.

    • Realistically, when you account for the 54 guys at vet min, draft pool, McPhee… they would have about 9 million (maybe just under) in rollover.

  • Back to the good ol daysBruce

I would’ve been pretty and made Suzy work his ass off all summer then cut/trade after final cuts. Unrealistic but it feels like he doesn’t deserve a 3rd chance….he’ll do well behind that front 7…

MJ was also that way. I mean dude dunked on you with his tongue hanging out…

        • Lets be fair. Both are in the discussion for greatest player of all time. Some may say, the discussion IS those two.

          • there’s no discussion.

the greatest players and teams of this generation would have no answer for the Knicks or Pistons. Golden State would win 1 of the first games in a 7 game series and by game 3 all their starters would be on IR. And Jordan would drop 70 on them every night, half of those from the FT line. Both ends of the court, too.

          • Well, first of all, neither is the greatest player of all time – that’s Wilt Chamberlain.

          • yes, Chamberlain is the greatest playa of all time.

if only we drafted Vonn Bell or Kevin Byard instead of Suzy

  • I think Gruden would have lost the locker room had Cravens been allowed back

    Guys hated that he quit

    Unforgivable

  • As to Cravens, I’m thrilled with getting a 5th round pick out of this bum, but it’s certainly an overall loss and it hurts to lose a second round pick so soon.

Of course, I didn’t like the pick in the first place and said so on the show, but that’s a separate issue.

    • I am not gonna get upset about it, the team got “Something” for him at least. I’d still have waited to see what he did in camp. But no use crying over su’a’ed milk.

      • Josh RosenSquinns

Problem is, I don’t think other players would have wanted him around after he quit right after final cuts. Completely asshole move and I am sure the other players were pissed off.

        • Totally understand that perspective on it too. I dunno how many conversations the FO has had with players about that question. I’d have to think at least at some point they asked guys like Hall and DJ about it, given they were the leaders of the secondary.

          • At the same time, I’m not gonna wish him ill, frankly I hope that Cravens can eventually get his head right & make himself into a decent player.

    • Harrumph! I feel the same way. Was not crazy about the Cravens pick at all.
