Week 1, Redskins @ Cardinals – Gameday Thread

Posting this a bit early for you guy because I got a lot of nonsense to do today.  The season begins now with the Washington Redskins out west in Arizona.  This game won’t be a cakewalk, Arizona’s got some talented players.  They played very well through pre-season, going 3-1.  They gave Dall-ass a 27-3 beat down in week 3.  We got to watch out for those defensive playmakers of theirs, as they forced a ton of turnovers in that game.

A minor gripe about the Cardinals. One thing I like to do before we record our podcasts, I like to go find stories by writers and fan blogs, to get a sense of what the opponent’s base is thinking.  I had the hardest time finding that kind of material for Arizona, it’s like no one out there gives a hoot about the Cardinals. I did find an interesting post this morning on SB Nation how for the past 39 years new Cards head coaches have lost every first game they’ve coached.  So that’s an interesting fact.
