Gameday thread: Redskins vs Packers

It’s been a rough week to be a skins fan. Between the kvetching about fan turnout at the season opener and the poor on-field performance, the team didn’t seem to get much right last weekend.   That half-full stadium’s been the butt of many a joke this week in the media.

Nothing will help this team get a boost better than a surprise win over the Packers.  If one thing has been going right for the skins so far, you have to think that it’s the defense, and they will have their hands filled with Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers at 50% is still better than 50% of the starting QB’s in the NFL, and those WR’s will keep our secondary busy.  On offense, we really need to see the top players step up, Crowder, Richardson, Peterson need to go do something in order to give Chris Thompson some help.
