It’s just a little over a week before the NFL Draft, so we’re going to see who some of the best mock draft experts have predicted to be drafted in round 1.
Using The Huddle Report’s Five Year Average ranking of mockers and those who have published a 2020 mock draft, I have identified eight of the top eleven mockers for analysis: Kevin Hanson, Ben Standig, Forrest Long, Ryan McCrystal, Evan Silva, Matthew Jones, Brian Johannes and Joe Marino.
Between those eight draft experts, they picked a combined 46 different players to be drafted in the first round.

Eighteen players were consensus picks in the first round.

Which mock drafter made predictions different from every other mock drafter? Three picks stood out from the others: Matthew Jones picked Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame at pick #30, and Brian Johannes picked the other two, with Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn at pick #22 and Jeremy Chinn, S, Southern Illinois at pick #26.
