The Season in a Snap – Week 6

By Noonefromtampa

Week 6 was bad, but at least the Washington Football Team did not set a new record for consecutive 30+ point games given up. Coach Ron Rivera elected to go for the win on a 2-point conversion rather than tie the game and try for a win in overtime. The conversion attempt failed and WFT lost to the winless Giants 20-19. After the horrible offensive showing against the Rams, WFT bounced back with 337 yards of offense; however, two critical miscues (interception and fumble) led to 14 points for the Giants.

The Cowboys were blown out by the Cardinals, while the Eagles lost to the Ravens. Now, the Cowboys are leading the NFC East with 2 wins, followed by the Eagles, the Giants, with WFT in last place.

This week Washington is a 1 point favorite over Dallas. The over/under is 46 points. I have the Cowboys as my pick to win this week, but that was based on a healthy Dak Prescott at quarterback. I actually like WFT’s chances to win this week against an injury-ravaged Cowboys team.
