The Season in a Snap – Week 9
By Noonefromtampa
November 13, 2020
Happy Friday the 13th; avoid Camp Crystal Lake today. Week 9 brought us another close loss to the Giants at Fed Ex Field. Two soul crushing interceptions (crushing to the remaining Washington fans, that is) by Alex Smith ruined the chance of winning the game. This week the Washington Football Team travels to Ford Field in Detroit to play the Lions. The Team are 4.5 points underdogs and the over/under is 46.5 points. I have the Washington winning this week over the Lions, one of the few teams over which Washington has an historic advantage in wins.
The Cowboys lost a surprisingly close game to the Steelers, while the Eagles had a bye week. As a result, the NFC East standings are the Eagles in first place with 3 wins and tie, followed by WFT, the Cowboys and the Giants with 2 wins. This week, the Eagles play the Giants, while the Cowboys have their bye week. The Eagles have a chance to build on their NFC East lead with a win this week.
