Are You Ready For the NFL MegaCast?
It’s December and both the NBA and NHL won’t start until the new year so the NFL is dominant. Taking our cues from there we talk about creeping worry about unsold advertising spots for the Super Bowl, rating fluctuations and ESPN’s plan on MegaCasting their Wildcard games. As usual this all hinges on larger tectonic shifts in media delivery and consolidation. We finish by looking at proposed NCAA changes that would give college athletes more free market opportunities to monetize their noteriety.
