Thoughts

Little things are often the difference between winning and losing in close game between good teams. This game had a number of these scenarios.

The Commanders had one touchdown nullified by an ineligible downfield pass penalty on Samuel Cosmi during a screen pass to Olamide Zaccheaus.

Another potential touchdown was ruled an incompletion when Zack Ertz was judged not to have complete control of the ball at the end of the play.

D’Andre Swift ran for a touchdown. How many penalties do you see on the play?

Here’s a closeup to help out.

The officials made up for it on this play, which left Chicago fans crying in their beers.
