The NFL is the big dog and in this show we highlight two key data points. Data point One: Google via its YouTube brand paying $2 Billion Dollars a year for the Sunday Ticket in 2024 and Data point Two: How badly the NFL trounced the NBA on Christmas Day ratings, and that’s with the NBA getting better numbers than the last few years. We discuss implications of the YouTube TV deal, trends in viewing and discuss how all other sports are just fighting for the NFL’s table scraps. We close it out looking at what sports business stories will start to pop, or continue to simmer.
