2025 NFL Draft Preview: Interior Defensive Line
February 18, 2025
By Noonefromtampa
The 2025 NFL Draft is deep in interior defensive lineman with as many as three to four picks possibly going in the first round.
Day 1 Prospects
Name | Height | Weight | School |
Mason Graham | 6-3 | 320 | Michigan |
Walter Nolen | 6-3 | 305 | Mississippi |
Kenneth Grant | 6-3 | 339 | Michigan |
Derrick Harmon | 6-5 | 310 | Oregon |
Graham and Nolen project to go in the top 20 before Washington picks at 29. Kenneth Grant would be a pick to make if the team is moving on from Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne. He is extremely athletic, and adept at both run stopping and pass rushing, making him an excellent choice to put next to Johnny Newton in a revamped defensive line. Derrick Harmon is another player expected to be available when Washington selects. He is powerful and disruptive, with quick hands who plays with good leverage.
Kenneth Grant is a MENACE at the center of a defense.
He constantly draws double teams but has still managed 8 sacks, 50 pressures, and 39 run stops in the last two seasons.
He’s all of 6’3, 342lbs and is an INCREDIBLE athlete at that size. Could end up a top 10 pick. pic.twitter.com/ugjrmahM6Z

Big Man, Bigger Motor. That’s the best way to describe Oregon Ducks iDL Derrick Harmon.
🚂 Most pressures by a DT in CFB (55)
💨 2nd in pressure rate by a DT (10.7%)
🦆 10.5 Tackles for loss
🪢 Positional Flex, can be a 1T or 3T

Day 2 Prospects
Name | Height | Weight | School |
Tyleik Williams | 6-3 | 327 | Ohio State |
Deone Walker | 6-6 | 345 | Kentucky |
T.J. Sanders | 6-4 | 290 | South Carolina |
Alfred Collins | 6-5 | 320 | Texas |
Omarr Norman-Lott | 6-3 | 315 | Tennessee |
Joshua Farmer | 6-3 | 318 | Florida State |
Darius Alexander | 6-4 | 310 | Toledo |
Another freakishly athletic big man is Deone Walker, who the Commanders may consider on day 2 of the draft.
Deone Walker’s tape is NIGHTMARE FUEL 🤯
He’s amassed 97 pressures, 15 sacks, and 70 stops in 3 years playing EVERYWHERE—from nose tackle to edge rusher.
Imagine having to block a 6’7, 342lb lineman who is quick enough to be a stand-up pass rusher… pic.twitter.com/dxoZubwqIC

Day 3 Prospects
Name | Height | Weight | School |
J.J. Pegues | 6-2 | 315 | Mississippi |
C.J. West | 6-2 | 317 | Indiana |
Cam Horsley | 6-4 | 306 | Boston College |
Zeek Biggers | 6-6 | 320 | Georgia Tech |
Cam’Ron Jackson | 6-6 | 342 | Florida |
Ty Hamilton | 6-3 | 295 | Ohio State |
Tonka Hemingway | 6-3 | 288 | South Carolina |
Bryson Eason | 6-3 | 310 | Tennessee |
Tommy Akingbesote | 6-4 | 320 | Maryland |
A more developmental day 3 pick could be Cam Jackson from Florida.
For the value, I really like Cam’Ron Jackson (Florida) with a 6th round pick. He looked awesome at the Senior Bowl, but got lost in the shuffle with so many high profile players also having great weeks.
Willie Lampkin (UNC) had very few losses throughout the week. This was one. https://t.co/3aHbGPvL7t
