August 5th notes

I will say sorry in advance, as I write this up via my cell, but here are my notes from the 1st half of practice.

The offense was much sharper today in 11 on 11.  Smith’s passes in 11 on 11 were on point  as he spread the ball around to different targets.  He hit Davis deep for a TD on his first pass.

I spent a lot if time trying to look at the lines through practice. A few things stood out.  Christian has a lot of potential – he regularly beat who ever he faced.  Tim Settle is unstoppable one on one.  The two biggest hits on the day both were delivered by Ryan Anderson, first as he squared up with a pulling guard sending the guy backwards feet over head. He then later broke up a pass over the middle the easy way by stonewalling the wide receiver.
