Roster moves

The Redskins made several personnel moves today, filling out some open spots and stirring the back of the roster.

Washington signed tackle Kendall Calhoun, defensive back Darius Hillary, and wide receiver Allenzae Staggers.

Calhoun is a 6’6″, 300 pound rookie tackle from the University of Cincinnati.

Hillary, 5’10”, 183 pounds, played his college ball at Wisconsin and first entered the NFL when he was signed by Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2016.  He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.55 seconds at the 2016 Wisconsin pro day.  He was active for one game for the Cleveland Browns in 2017.

Staggers is a 6’0″, 180 pound receiver out of Southern Mississippi.  He had 44 receptions for 471 yards for the Golden Eagles in 2017.  He ran the 40 yard dash in 4.48 seconds.

The Redskins also waived running back Martez Carter with an injury designation, and waived linebacker Jeff Knox and defensive end Jalen Wilkerson.
