This is my final update to the Redskins Mock draft tracker. I have the data for 187 published mock drafts tracked, with the breakdown as follows:

The overwhelming choice from the pundits is still Chase Young, who received 85% of the picks. Second choice now is some sort of trade scenario. Third choice is drafting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, with a few single, out of the box picks bringing up the rear.

Trade Breakdowns

The most popular trade option for the Redskins, predicted by six mockers, is with Miami for the #5 pick. Without getting into all of the trade permutations, the most popular guesses for the Redskins with the fifth pick are:

  • Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio St (selected by five experts)
  • Jedrick Wills Jr, OT, Alabama (selected by two experts)
  • Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville (selected by one expert)
  • Chase Young, DE, Ohio St (selected by one expert)
  • Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson (selected by one expert)
  • Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia (selected by one expert)

Two names are new to the mix as compared to prior updates: Isaiah Simmons and Andrew Thomas. Both are solid picks for the team and would be immediate starters, as would the other players in this group.

Two experts have the Redskins trading with Chargers for the #6 pick, and predicted that with this pick the Redskins would take:

  • Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville
  • Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson

One expert has the Redskins trading with the Panthers for the #7 pick, and predicted that with this pick the Redskins would take:

  • Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio St

Lastly, one expert has the Redskins trading with Raiders at the #12 pick, and predicted that with this pick the Redskins would take:

  • Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson
