The Season in a Snap – Week 5

By Noonefromtampa

October 16, 2020

Week 5 was the 4th straight game where the Washington Football Team gave up 30 or more points to an opponent, tying the team record set in 1954. The offense also contributed to the problem with an anemic performance, gaining only 108 total net yards. The game also had quarterback Kyle Allen’s first appearance of the season, at least until he got hurt and was replaced by Alex Smith in his first action since breaking his leg in 2018.

The Cowboys beat the Giants, while the Eagles lost to the Steelers. As a result, the NFC East standings are the Cowboys in first place with 2 wins, followed by the Eagles, the WFT, with the winless Giants in last place.

This week the WFT is a 3-point underdog against the Giants in New Jersey. The over/under is 43 points. I have the Giants as my pick to win this week.
