Hold On – Week 7
October 28, 2020
By Noonefromtampa
A Dallas week victory is a great feeling that doesn’t happen often enough.
In the Cowboys game, WFT were called for five penalties with four accepted for 30 yards while the Cowboys were called for eight penalties with six accepted for 49 yards.
Washington is averaging 5.3 penalty calls a game, less than the 8.2 average penalty calls per game in 2019.
The game’s big penalty was Jonathan Bostic’s flagrant hit on Andy Dalton which resulted in Dalton being concussed and Bostic being disqualified. If you want to hit a sliding quarterback, you certainly don’t do it in the blatant way Bostic did. The other interesting call was illegal contact on Trevon Diggs. It was interesting because the contact did not stop Terry McLaurin from scoring a 52-yard touchdown against Diggs.
